In a hostel the design work comes down to the balance between the number of beds and the quality of the shared areas: kitchen, lounge, showers. Storage is a separate theme, since several guests share one room.
At three hundred square metres a hostel already divides into several rooms of different capacity, sanitary blocks and a common area. The reception desk and the route from it to the rooms usually need separate attention, so that arrivals and departures do not pass through the lounge.
